Cognitive Science is an interdisciplinary field concerning itself with of the mind and its processes, drawing from psychology, neuroscience, linguistics, philosophy, anthropology, and computer science and artifical intelligence. Cognitive scientists study intelligence and behavior, particularly on how nervous systems process and synthesize information. Frequent areas of study include language, memory, perception, attention, emotion, and reasoning. With a degree from a German university, you could join this field and help work towards its goal of better understanding intelligence, and applying this understanding to be able to improve human quality of life and develop "intelligent" machines and devices.
